While live bait fishing for stripers, we catch several trophy smallmouth, catfish and the occasional walleye. Captain Oxford is very flexable so if you choose to fish longer that's not a problem for him. Clayton is very well known for going that extra mile.

There has been a lot on the news recently about Wolf Creek Dam and the lake levels. We are fortunate to be located out of Grider Hill Dock, the deepest end of the lake. This will not affect the fishing, it will actually be an advantage.

We observe all creel limits and recommended catch and release policies of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife. You will be comfortable in our 25 ft Pontoon powered by a 150 Honda Engine. We fish year-round as the boat comes with a full enclosure and is heated. We will now be able to accommodate larger groups and have access to other boats for larger parties. Captain Oxford has caught many Trophy Striped Bass. Captain Oxford was responsible for three of the biggest fish of three different species caught and recorded in the state of Kentucky in 2005. Clayton has been recognized in numerous newspapers and magazines throughout his career. He has the experience to not only put you on fish, but to also teach you the skills to catch your limit.
